I don't have time for that, I need to go home and brush my teeth
The other day in the midst of some kind of mental impulse buying spree at RT Mart, I picked up an electric toothbrush. I never thought I was the type of guy to buy a thing like this, but I guess I am. It was only like US$7.00, I guess, although everything here is priced with some kind of Monopoly money so sometimes I just don't bother doing the math, so it could have been $70.00 for all I know.
It's occurred to me before to buy one, but I remember a year or two ago there was a study done that showed that there was really only one model of electric toothbrush that was particularly effective. And of course I can't remember which one that was. So I've been paralyzed by doubt. And plus in my family we never really went for “extravagant” things like $7.00 toothbrushes, so there was that hurdle too.
Wow, I gotta tell you, I never knew what I was missing. I don't know if my teeth are any cleaner or not, they probably aren't because I no doubt should have bought the Braun model instead of the Colgate one, but the actual work of brushing feels like its so much more efficient, that it must be doing a better job.
Just thought I would share.
