why you never see me post new photos.
I was planning to spend the weekend taking pictures. Yesterday there was a protest at the White House that I was planning to shoot. But before I went I ran out to the sandwich shop to get lunch for L, and it was cold and raining, and I started thinking about all the things I had to do this weekend, and so I brought back the sandwiches, put my camera bag away, and then sat down in front of the TV and watched a few episodes of Dead Like Me from Ben's DVD's.
Last night I went over to someone's apartment for a gaming party. This was someone who posted on Craigslist asking for people to come over and play board games. I was pretty sure it was going to be a mistake, but it ended up being a really good group of people and I had a lot of fun. There were a few too many people for the small apartment, but everyone had a good time with munchies and a bunch of games, most of which I had never heard of. I really wanted to get in on a game of Settlers of Catan, but didn't manage that, instead played a couple other games including… umm… well I can't remember the names well enough to even google them. (This was one.) But anyway I think this will be an ongoing thing, which is good.
So today I was going to go shoot the Lunar New Year parade downtown, but then L wanted to go have Indian buffet for lunch, and now I'm stuffed, it's still pretty grey out, and I've got taxes to work on, and the baby's room needs a lot of work, so I think I'll just stay home and play Neverwinter Nights instead. Or maybe take a nap.
