Generic Synthetic

Yeah, so I’m trying to get back into the groove. You know how it goes; Summer, baby, Other Things taking up mental bandwidth. The software that I was using previously required that I be running it from my desk, and at the end of the day after the baby gets to sleep I’m not typically in the mood to sit in front of the computer, or if I do it’s because I want to work on my photos. And then I upgraded the software to a new version, and then I couldn’t post at all even though it said it was working. And I just didn’t care enough to debug it all. Frankly, I spent a lot of time curled up in a corner wishing Fresh hadn’t abandoned us to the cruel, cold world, writing our own patents with nobody to help.

I’ve been trying to develop my photography, so to speak, and as part of that I decided to register a new domain. (Link coming soon, as soon as it’s presentable.) And one thing led to another, and the new host I ended up signing up with gives you unlimited domains for the same price. So I moved Gensyn over here too. I was previously a freeloader one of Joe’s servers, which is Windows…

OK, see, I’m already bored. You don’t care. I don’t care to explain it. So: New server. Wordpress. Comments currently get sent to me before they get posted, just so you know. The design is one of the stock themes; I’ll probably change it eventually. Oh, and links to archive posts are gonig to be broken, sorry. That’s it. Thanks for visiting.
